The Rolling J Ranch is owned and managed by Brice Karsh. An avid fly fisherman, as well as a 3x All-American athlete at The University of Tennessee, Brice spends the bulk of his time managing the watershed, meeting and greeting Club Members and their guests, and tending to the daily operations of this one-of-a-kind property.
The Rolling J: A Dream Realized
I first caught a trout on a fly rod in 1979 at the age of 8, when my pool hall hustling and horse track gambling grandfather took me on a camping trip around Truckee, CA. The clean air and gin clear water was unlike anything I had ever seen and when that first rainbow trout rose to subtly slurp in whatever dry fly my grandpa managed to tie on the end of the line, I was “hooked.” Unfortunately, that memory was all I was left with for almost two decades, as I stayed focused on what was largely a promising tennis career. Nevertheless, my love of nature never expired, and the beauty of Colorado, led me to follow my dreams in returning to the gin clear watersheds and longing to own an extraordinary piece of land. It is my hope that our Club Members as well as anyone who visits The Rolling J Ranch, will leave with enormous smiles on their faces, further validating all of the blood, sweat, and tears that has gone into and continues to go into this exquisite property and its incomparable fishery.
